Mothers' Union

Diocese of Worcester                      Hagley  Branch

We had a very interesting talk from Jayne Mottershead in April about the history of the Scouting and Guiding movement, and then her personal guiding life from child tleader, spanning well over 30 years.

On Thursday 15th June we are having a cream tea  in the garden of  no 2  Hagley Close (Judy  Plant's house) and we pray that the weather will be good!

This year the Diocesan Festival is close to us, being at St. James, Wollaston on Wednesday 21st June starting at 2.30pm. I hope some of our members will be able to attend.

On July 5th the Diocesan AGM is to be held at St. Saviour's Hall starting at 7.30 pm. Please let Judy know if you can come. It is interesting to hear what goes on around our Diocese and gives us the opportunity to meet other M.U. members.

We are very excited that the M.U. Chaplain for the North Archdeaconry, Revd. Nick Kaleniuk will come to lead us in worship and talk to us on  Thursday 20th July

He will also be leading the Diocesan Festival service in June.

Advance notice;  we will be holding a coffee morning on Thursday 17th August after the 10 a.m service. Everyone is invited to join us that morning and various products will be on sale. More details to follow.
