The 2024 Hagley Music Festival is being held at a number of venues in Hagley from 12 to 28 April. Details can be found elsewhere in this edition of the Hagley Village News. There are flyers available in our churches, with information about all the events – or go to www.hagleymusicfestival.com The festival ends with Choral Evensong, sung by Worcester Cathedral Choir, at 4.00 pm on Sunday 28 April in St John the Baptist Church. Everyone is very welcome.

Christian Aid Week – 12 to 18 May 2024
Christian Aid began work in 1945 to help refugees following the Second World War. For more than 75 years the charity has provided vital humanitarian relief and long-term development support for communities world-wide. Envelopes will be delivered to homes, to be returned to a central collection point – or you can give to Christian Aid via the website: www.christianaid.org.uk
Thursday 2 May: Clent MU meeting at 2.00pm. All are welcome.
Sunday 12 May: Music for Sanctuary Concert at St John’s at 3.00pm. Programme to include Brahms Clarinet Quintet. Free – donations for local charity for the homeless.
Thursday 16 May: Hagley MU meeting in St Saviour’s Church Hall at 2.30 pm
9 – 19 May: Thy Kingdom Come – 10 days of prayer for all Christian denominations, locally and across the world. Prayers in St Saviour’s from 11.00 am on Saturday 11 May.
