Hagley / Wollaston Link 2016 Report

During 2015 the congregations of St James’, Wollaston and Hagley enjoyed three joint events together.

On Sunday 26 April 2015

Members of St James’, Wollaston joined Hagley for Choral Evensong at the end of the Hagley Music Festival at St John’s Church and enjoyed a glass of wine afterwards.

On Sunday 5 July 2015

We had hoped to visit Hereford Cathedral but this was not possible so the Revd Nick Kaleniuk invited Hagley to a tea party in the garden at the  Rectory. Excellent  hospitality was extended to us by Nick and his wife and the weather was kind until nearly the end of the afternoon when a sudden shower forced everyone indoors. We then enjoyed a joint worship which formed an uplifting end to the afternoon. Hagley was well represented and an invitation was extended to St James’ to a tea party at Pinewoods Avenue in 2016 at the home of Milly Purton.

On Sunday 18 October 2015

Members of Hagley joined St James’ congregation for the evening service at 6.30 pm to celebrate St Luke the Evangelist. Once again a wonderful tea was provided by Wollaston.
